Japanorama

I don't know whether anyone else has been following the 'Japanorama' series on BBC3 hosted my Jonathan Ross but I watched an episode last night and it was all about 'Bad girls'

For some reason, I am mildly obsessed with the Japanese culture. There is such a wide mix of contrasts in such a small country- from

ZEN

to the childlike KAWAII

I'm fascinated!!'Japanese Streets' is a great site which allows you to post and view Japanese Street fashion- based losely on 'Fruits Magazine' its great! Its just a plethora of images of what people are wearing. Fruits magazine has already spawned two books- Fruits and Fresh Fruits both of which I have and I often flick through- not looking for an outfit to copy- but for inspiration for outfits and the way I can mix and match my wardrobe.

In a 'celebrity obsessed culture' where people are wanting to emulate their favourite 'celebs' its refreshing to pick up an inspirational magazine or discover a new website where people aren't wanting to look like Sienna Miller or Victoria Beckham.

Look out for more posts on Japan!
