On a recent Ski trip we were told there would be a fancy dress night and the theme would be cartoon characters. Stuck for ideas I browsed 'cartoons' on Google and came across a website
that listed all the cartoons you used to watch as a kid. It was then I came across Penny Crayon. Remember her? Whatever she wished for she could draw and it would come to life? She also had a very distinctive look in the cartooning business. Long blond hair, round specs and a school uniform which included a beret, not forgetting a big crayon!So my idea was set and all I needed to do was get the outfit together. I purchased the blond wig and specs from Chicken Shop and the school uniform I compiled myself by getting a black skirt, white shirt and a red jumper. I also got an old mans tie that looked like it could pass off as a school tie.
The outfit was original and a great success. So, if anyone is having a fancy dress party....
