Harry Potter Launch Party in London!

I know this has NOTHING to do with fashion at all... but hey, its my blog and I can write what I want! hehehe... sometimes I do run out of things to blog about as I get boring and stay indoors a lot- especially with the weather we've had recently... but I digress...

Myself and 2 friends (or should I say colleagues) decided to go to the Harry Potter Launch Party at Waterstones in Picadilly last night. Me as always loving the whole dressing up etc went as a 'school girl' complete with my brother's old school tie! While I was walking along the queue with my friends, this lady exclaimed 'Oh look! Its Cho Chang!' (for those of you who haven't read the books, 'Cho Chang' is the character played by 'Katie Leung' in the movies and who manages to steal a kiss with Harry! Here is a pic of her:

Any resemblance? Apart from the fact that we are both oriental, I don't think so, although it was nice to think that I look like a 19 year old rather than the 24 years that I am!

There were crowds and crowds of people there as well as the press- camera men, reporters, photographers etc. Excuse the photos as my camera is not great at taking pictures in the dark! My brother told me he has bought me a new 'Pentax' from Hong Kong, so I'm looking forward for him to come home- just because I want my new toy! On the other hand, I've kind of turned his room into my own 'walk-in' dressing room and I've hijacked his computer so those are things that I'm going to have to change when he gets back in September!
